The North Country Ballet Ensemble will acquire a new piece for its repertory this spring as part of its New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization grant award (administered locally by the NCCCA) and bi-annual spring concert.  Rebecca Kelly will adapt her work Rising into Light with original score by Adrian Carr, for NCBE dancers.

The performance is on May  22nd, 7pm, at Chazy School in the auditorium.

Please join Alice Schonbek in an intermediate level Open Ballet class (ages 12 and up) on Friday, February 26th from 5:15-7:15. There will be a $10.00 fee for non-registered students. This Open Class, with Ms. Kelly observing, will be for student dancers who are interested in participating in the spring performance.

An additional audition class on March 5th from 5:15-7:15 for ages 10 and up, will take place at Guibord’s N. Country School of Ballet. The school is located at 427 Margaret Street, Plattsburgh, NY.
